Our Process

1. Your Inquiry

Let us know how we can help you. The more details you can provide to us the more accurate our estimate can be. You can give us a call to discuss or fill out our Request an Estimate form. We will get back to you with a general estimate of what the project will cost. If, after receiving our estimate you would like to take the next step, we will do a full proposal for your website.

2. Our Proposal

We’ll develop a detailed proposal for your website. Our proposal will describe what will be included, what we will need from you, the various stages of your project, approximately how long it will take to complete, how much it will cost and a schedule of payments. After you’ve had a chance to review the proposal we can discuss and make changes as necessary. Once you accept the proposal and make a deposit we will schedule your project.

3. Discovery & Research

Custom Website Design—We’ll develop a detailed Project Plan. The Project Plan will serve as a guide for both of us during the development of your website. It will include what you can expect from us and when, and what information we’ll need from you and when. The information architecture and design direction for your website will also be developed during this phase.

Website Lite—We will work with you to choose the best WordPress theme for your website, determine what colors and fonts will be used to customize and coordinate it with your branding, and develop the information architecture.

4. Design & Revise

Custom Website Design—We will develop a completely custom visual design with static mockups for the various pages and page layouts in your website. After you review the mockups we will revise the visual design based on your feedback. After you review the revised design and give us feedback, we will revise the design again. Three rounds of reviews and revisions are included. We want to get your website design exactly where you want it before we begin the Development phase of your website.

Website Lite—We will make design changes to the WordPress theme that was chosen for your site – fonts, colors, suggestions for images, etc. You will review the working website and we will make revisions based on your feedback.

5. Develop & Test

Custom Website Design—Once you approve the visual design we’ll begin developing your website. We’ll need all of your content at this point. We’ll develop a custom WordPress theme for your site using the approved visual design.

Website Lite—We’ll add your page content to your website and continue to adjust the design of your theme to support your branding and your feedback.

In either case, we will thoroughly test your website to insure that it functions properly and displays correctly across all modern browsers and a full range of devices. Once your website is nearing completion you will review it. We’ll make final refinements after we receive your feedback.

6. Launch!

Congratulations—your website is live! After your site launches we’ll train you to use your website. Training time is included with all of our websites.

We’ll be your partner going forward for whatever assistance you may need with your website and will keep on top of necessary maintenance and updates that will keep you site working properly on a schedule that works for you.
