This website celebrates all things Louisiana! It is chock full of interesting stories that highlight the unique places, people, cultures and history of the state.

The website is a compilation of the work of Dave McNamara, an award-winning broadcast journalist, with more than 40 years of experience in television and radio in his home state of Louisiana.

“Now with HeartofLouisiana.com, I am able to share what I have learned during a lifetime of working in Louisiana”, Dave said. “Hopefully, this website will help others explore and appreciate the natural beauty and the amazing people and cultures that make Louisiana a one-of-a-kind home and destination.”
