Custom Means Completely Custom
Before we begin your custom website, we will work with you to understand the qualities that make your company or organization unique and any special functionality you require in your website. This understanding is fundamental to the original website we’ll create to uniquely represent you on the web.
Custom Project Plan
We’ll develop a customized project plan for your website that will serve as a guide during the development of your website. It will include what you can expect from us and when, and what information we’ll need from you and when. The information architecture and design direction for your website will also be included in your website project plan.
Custom Web Design
A custom web design will be developed for your website. We’ll create page mockups for the various pages and page layouts in your website which you will review. If you’re not pleased we’ll start over. If you’re happy with the design but would like a few changes, we’ll revise the design based on your feedback.
Custom WordPress Theme
After you approve your custom web design we’ll begin developing your website. We’ll develop a custom WordPress theme for your site using the approved visual design and incorporate any custom functionality. We’ll thoroughly test your site to insure that it functions properly and displays properly across all modern browsers and a full range of devices. We’ll make final refinements to your website based on your feedback before your website goes live.
What IS a WordPress Theme?
A WordPress theme is what gives your site its overall look and feel. It includes things like the layout of your pages, colors and font styles. It can also add custom functionality or special effects that enhance the user interface of your site. A custom WordPress theme is a one of a kind theme that has been developed specifically for one website. There are companies that specialize in developing commercial WordPress themes that can be purchased at a low cost and used to build a WordPress site. These themes are sold many times over so the cost of developing them is not paid by one individual or company as is the case with a custom WordPress theme.
